iPhone & iPad · no App Store
Apple lets a website live on the Home Screen with an icon of its own, and Freehit opens from there full screen, straight on the match list. Safari does it in three taps; there is no App Store, no download and no account.
Freehit is already on this device's Home Screen.
Go to freehit.eu in Safari. The Share button is the square with an arrow pointing up: at the bottom of the screen on an iPhone, next to the address bar on an iPad.
Below the row of app icons is a list of actions. Scroll it until you see Add to Home Screen and tap it. On older versions of iOS it sits further down the list than you expect.
Safari shows the icon and a name. Leave the name as it is and tap Add in the top right.
The icon lands on the Home Screen, on the last page if the others are full. From there the site runs full screen and streams play exactly as they do in Safari.
There is nothing to update later: the icon always opens the site as it is today.
No Add to Home Screen in the sheet. The page is open inside another app, such as WhatsApp, Instagram or Gmail. Copy the address and paste it into Safari.
The icon opens Safari with its bars. It was saved as a bookmark. Delete it and repeat the steps, choosing Add to Home Screen rather than Add Bookmark.
To remove it: hold the icon, tap Remove App, then Delete. Nothing else is left behind.
